Berkshire Theatre Group in Pittsfield, MA approached Gemini Creative initially to see how we could improve their current website.
Through discussions and creative thinking, we helped them determine a pain-point: distinguishing their theaters.
The Berkshire Theater Festival is comprised of 3 theaters in both Stockbridge and Pittsfield, MA. The main objective of the new design needed to help patrons know the difference.
This wireframe design allowed us to think critically about information - what is most important, what comes after that. We can build upon the wireframe to create the finished design.
We started designing on a mobile device preview, as many patrons would be using the new website away from their laptops. The challenge for us was to design a fully functional ticketing website for mobile devices. We then built the site out for wider screens like tablets, laptops, and large desk monitors.
Creating or refining your identity is to take a close look at who you are, what you sound like to others, and how others describe you.
This can be translated visually into something meaningful.
Before designing the website, we create a design system that reflects the view of the organization. The goal of the Identity Guide is to create consistency throughout the website and provide the client with a resource for creating other marketing materials.
“The team at Gemini Creative was amazing to work with on our website redesign. We are a year-round theatre company, constantly pulled in different directions, and they were integral in keeping us focused on completing the website on time.”
“They had a remarkable ability to look at our website from a patron’s perspective which was incredibly helpful. It was not always easy, but so necessary. They are skilled in design, layout, code, and troubleshooting. Glenn is naturally curious and always tried to find a way to make our requests work within the project scope.”
“Gemini Creative stayed with us through the launch and they still are. In short, hire these guys - you will have a great partner for your web project and beyond.”
